Phishield provides cover for the individual against a loss of funds from an account in your name as a result of an electronic funds transfer (whether authorized or unauthorized) due to the fraudulent conduct of a third party. The loss of funds must be irrecoverable from your financial institution. In the instance of individuals, this would be linked to your ID number. Phishield protects you against online banking fraud, online shopping fraud, holiday scams, bogus property rentals, accommodation booking scams, a limited percentage of fake classified adverts as well as a limited percentage cyber extortion. From as little as R40 per month you can get cover to protect yourself from the above.

Phishield can also provide cover against a loss of funds from an account in your business name. The account must be linked to the registration- or entity number of the business. If your business holds a bank account, transacts online of pay vendors via EFT this product is suitable for you. The product can protect you against email interception fraud, EFT/deposit scams, Online banking fraud, Fraudulent invoices etc. Cover from as little as R50 per month for R50,000 cover. This limit can be increased at an additional premium.
